What we provide

Services include:

  • Community transport services for eligible people living at home independently.
  • Community Circuit services, shared door to door transport for eligible people living at home independently.
  • Information on transport options for people who are having difficulty using public transport.
  • Social outings and shopping trips for eligble seniors, call us to find out how to register with My Aged Care or Community Access Point.
  • A bus hire system.

Client's Rights & Responsbilities

Clients have the following rights:

  • To be treated with respect and courtesy
  • To be informed and give your views
  • To be part of the decision making about your service
  • To recieve a quality service
  • To privacy and confudentiality
  • To use an advocate
  • To make a complaint

Clients have the following responsibilities:

  • To treat staff with respect and courtesy
  • To provide reasonable notice if service is not required
  • Clients must utilise seatbelts and other safety devices as directed by staff
  • Clients will respect the confidentiality of information on other clients
  • Clients take responsibility for the results of any decisions which they make
  • Feedback from clients is welcomed. If clients are not happy with the service provided by Volunteering Gold Coast Transport Services there is a complaints process available to them - ring the Volunteering Gold Coast Transport Services Manager.

Bookings and enquiries

All the services are pre-booked with the office. If Volunteering Gold Coast Transport Services is unable to assist with transport, we will provide you with information on transport options in your area.

To make a booking contact Volunteering Gold Coast Transport Services on 5526 5288.

Booking hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. Bookings must be made in advance where possible.
