Gold Coast Seniors were treated to a special morning tea on Friday, 24th of March by Allure on Currumbin.

The group of 40 visited the local restaurant as part of a Volunteering Gold Coast Transport Services monthly social outing.

The owner of Allure on Currumbin, Eddie Rebehy, generously hosted the group of 40 free of charge, treating them to a five-star morning tea.

“Allure on Currumbin doesn’t ordinarily open before lunch but we are excited to be able to contribute to our community in which we live and enjoy,” he said.

“All our staff, family and friends are so excited to be involved.”

Volunteering Gold Coast Transport Services CEO Richard Patterson said the organisation and the seniors were very appreciative of Mr Rebehy’s generosity.

“This generous donation by Mr Rebehy and the team at Allure on Currumbin makes a significant impact on our seniors. They were able to enjoy a delicious morning tea with their friends without having to worry about the cost, which is a reality for many of them,” Mr Patterson explained.

Volunteering Gold Coast Transport Services arranges monthly social outings for eligible seniors. Drivers offer a shared pickup transport service, specifically developed for people over 65. Visit our Services page for more information, or request a brochure {LINK}.
