Volunteer

Volunteering Gold Coast Transport Services is made up of more than 70 volunteers. Without them, the vital services we deliver to the community would simply not be possible. We are always looking for individuals with a passion for serving and making a difference in the following areas, so why not become a volunteer today?

Driver

Our volunteer drivers must be self-motivated with an affable nature and have a sound knowledge of the Gold Coast. The role requires patience and compassion for our clients when driving them in one of our fleet vehicles to various venues across the Gold Coast. Vehicles are located at our head office in Miami, where volunteers collect the keys and a run sheet from our friendly office staff at the beginning of each shift. A uniform and name badge will be supplied and all volunteers must be willing to give assistance to clients entering and exiting the vehicles.

As safety is paramount at Volunteering Gold Coast Transport Services, only applicants with a current, clean driving license will be considered, and all volunteers must obtain a Queensland Transport Driver Authorisation, and Australian National Police Check.
