Richard is dedicated to exemplifying and furthering Volunteering Gold Coast Transport Service's cause.
In his role, Richard develops business opportunities with current and potential stakeholders, and maintains the organisation's business and strategic goals.
Richard has also developed multiple award winning volunteering programs implemented in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
In 2010, Richard was awarded the International Who's Who Award for Business Leadership and Excellence for his contributions to the not-for-profit and community sectors.
Transport Fleet Manager
Jo has been with Volunteering Gold Coast for more than 6 years and enjoys both the challenges and variety the organisation brings.
In 2008, Jo joined Volunteering Gold Coast as the Transport Services Coordinator. In this role, Jo was responsible for overseeing the broad range of community transport services the organisation provides.
Jo assumed the role of 'Volunteering Services Manager' in 2014 and was responsible for overseeing volunteer referrals and recruitment, as well as Workplace Health and Safety and office maintenance.
More recently, Jo has returned to transport services as the Fleet Manager. In her role, Jo manages volunteer drivers and oversees the upkeep of vehicles.
Sandra has an extensive career in community services and in 2006, joined Volunteering Gold Coast as the Transport Services Administrator. Sandra made a rapid succession to Transport Coordinator then Transport Manager.
Volunteering Gold Coast Transport Services is one of the top 3 providers of community transport nationally: 33 vehicles travel more than 9,000 kilometres, providing an average of 3,500 client trips each month.
